I see that there r various answers but it can be amazingly simple is making yr self as useful as possible to others.its a wonderful feeling!
If u focus applying this,others will realize the value they get from u, they may benefit u also,yr knowledge will be more consistent & brilliant . with this principle in yr mind, u should aim at increasing yr usefulness to others. i v brought u some ideas:
1-Be observant of needs
u should be aware of slightest clues of needs.the more sensitive u r to needs of others,the more appreciative people will eventually become .the best thing is to be quick at expecting needs before people are even aware of it.
2-find executable solutions
the solution u offer should be useful as possible, to be able to do it u should continuously build & renew yr knowledge.
3-Be proactive to help
Don't wait to be asked for a help if it is needed
4-Be sincere
what matters is not only the solution u offer ,but also the way u deliver it.
being sincere = being glade to help others without expecting a return. make it Ur joy to help others.People can distinguish somehow whether or not u r sincere!
5-Get the extra mile
means to give more than expected it is optional but impressed.
